ENGLISH ELOCUTION COMPETITION

An English Elocution Competition was held on the 25th of January 2021 and the topic for the same was “Our National Flag”. The objective was to develop and further enhance the children’s skills in spoken English language. Apart from this it also helped in making children aware of the Tricolour and prompting a patriotic sentiment amongst them.

In order for the competition to be held amidst the pandemic the teachers guided the parents to prepare a few sentences on the given topic and make them memorised by their wards. They were further asked to shoot videos of their wards while speaking on the topic and send them to their respective class teachers.

The competition was thus successfully carried out with children’s active participation which showed how much they really enjoyed it.
