EXPOSURE TO BAL BHAVAN

EDUCATIONAL VISIT OF AIRFORCE SCHOOL STUDENTS  OF CLASS 8TH  TO NATIONAL BAL BHAVAN, NEW DELHI

 

Air Force School has organized a special workshop for children at National Bal Bhavan from 12th September to 16th September 2022. National Bal Bhavan is an institution which aims at enhancing the creative potential of children by providing them various activities, opportunities and common platform to interact, experiment, create and perform according to their age, aptitude and ability. It offers a barrier-free environment with immense possibilities of innovation. Air Force School strives to provide contemporary education, sports facilities along with due emphasis on co-curriculum, activities to its students. In order to broaden the horizon and to provide a wider range of skills to our students this workshop is organized, in which about 100 students of class 8 and 23 escorts from various Air Force School across the country participated. First day of workshop started from the inauguration programme that was held in Meghla Jha Auditorium.  Chief Guests Air Vice Marshal Rajeev Sharma lit up the lamp, and other guest Command Education Officer, Group Captain Manisha Rajput and Joint Secretary of Education Minister Mr. Vipin Kumar are joined him. All the students and teachers are invited to attend the event. Bal Bhavan has organized various cultural programmes and amused the audience. In the end Chief Guest Air Vice Marshal Rajeev Sharma and Joint Secretary of Education Minister Mr. Vipin Kumar  express their the thoughts regarding the event and workshop.

This five days workshop was scheduled very systematically. Various activities have been organised such as radio and electronics, dance, vocal music classes, Art and Craft, Mask making. Students got chance to visit various amazing spots like wooden park, mini train ride, shilpgram(culture craft village) etc. schedule of five days workshop is mention below:-

  • In morning session classes of brain Optimization are also organized from 0630-0800 hrs.

All the activities are designed in such a manner that all round personality development is taken care of by keeping ‘child’ at the focus. It is the ‘learning by doing’ approach adopted by “National Bal Bhavan”.

 

Closing ceremony is organized on 16th at 0600 hrs. Air Marshal R.K. Anand was the chief guest.

Other guest Air Vice Marshal Rajeev Sharma, Grp. Capt Manisha Rajpoot, Joint Director Indian Railway Mr. Aishwarya Acharya, Chairperson of Bal Bhavan Ms. Mukta and Upnideshak Bal Bhavan Mr. Mukesh also joined him. Many cultural programs like group song, group dance and brain optimizing activities are performed by the student of Air Force Schools. At last programme is end by the group photographs of students and teachers with chief guests.
