RAKHIMAKING ACTIVITY

  1. Rakhi Making Competition for the year 2021 was celebrated in Air Force School Bhuj on Saturday , 21 August. Students were participated enthusiastically. They were very excited to express their happiness and knowledge. They used  various items like cotton, matchsticks, buds, flowers, ribbons etc to make  their rakhees.
  2. The auspicious brother-sister relationship is celebrated on Raksha Bandhan, which means “bond of safety.” The festival is celebrated in the Hindu calendar month of Shravan, on the full moon day, or Purnima. It will be commemorated this year on Sunday, August 22.
  3. A sister ties a thread around her brother’s wrist on this day as a mark of her unwavering faith in him and her prayers for his long life.
  4. Sisters wish for their beloved brothers to live a long and healthy life. The thread also bears a bond based on the loving relationship between brothers and sisters, as well as the motto of sharing responsibilities. This spiritual festival of Raksha Bandhan honours the wonderful relationship between brothers and sisters.
