Hindi Pakhwada ‘Hindi Diwas’ is celebrated every year on 14th September and Hindi Pakhwada is celebrated from 1st September to 15th September. Along with this, many competitions are organized to generate interest and encourage the students towards the official language Hindi. Various activities were also conducted in Air Force School to celebrate Hindi Pakhwada. Like dictations were done in class one. Calligraphy was done in class two, three and four. Thought writing was done by the children of class 5th, 6th and 7th. Essay writing was done in class VII and the children of class VIII and IX made posters on Hindi Diwas. Speech competition was held for the children of class X. In this way all the children celebrated Hindi Pakhwada with enthusiasm. Through the celebration of Hindi Diwas, awareness about Hindi language increased among all the children. By such an event, the vocabulary of Hindi increases in the children and they are able to improve their expression in Hindi, this is the meaning of Hindi Diwas.
