REPORT ON PAPER COLLAGE MAKING COMPETETION-2023

            Collage Making Competition was being organised for std I to XII Students. The theme for the competition for std I&II was flower in a vase/animal/bird, for class III to V was costal scene and for class VI to XII was 3D collage. The students were briefed about the significance of Collage, which is a technique of an art production, primarily used in the visual arts, where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. A collage may sometimes include magazine and newspaper clippings, ribbons, paint, bits of coloured or handmade papers, portions of other artwork and so on.

             All the participants brought the newspapers, magazines, scissors and other raw materials. The time allotted was one and a half hour. Participants were given ample opportunities to showcase their creativity followed by the theme. All the students participated enthusiastically along with competitive spirit. The students were judged by in charge teachers and craft teacher. The criteria of judgment were Creativity, Theme and Presentation. The students enjoyed the competition very much. All the winners were presented certificates.
