EK BHARAT SHRESHTHA BHARAT
Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme was initiated by Govt. of India with many objectives i.e. To celebrate the unity of our nation, to promote the spirit of national integration, to showcase the rich heritage and culture, customs and traditions of States, to establish long term engagement and to create an environment which promotes learning between States by sharing best practices and experiences.
The key themes for implementation of EBSB programme were as follows:-
- To celebrate the idea of India as a nation wherein different cultural units across varied geographies interact with each other.
- To make our people aware about the seamless integral hull of the modern Indian States spread across a vast landmass on whose firm foundations, the geo-political strength of the country is ensured to benefit one and all.
- To induce a sense of responsibility and ownership for the nation as a whole through these close cross-cultural interactions.
The following two categories of online activities were conducted in Air Force School Bhuj on Chhattisgarh for implementation of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) programme-
- Junior Category ( Classes I to VIII)
- Essay writing Competition on Music, Festival, Cuisine etc. of Chhattisgarh.
- Slogan Writing Competition on Chhattisgarh.
- Poster making Competition on tourism of Chhattisgarh.
- Video/Clips of Monuments of Chhattisgarh.
- Senior Category (Classes IX & X)
- Project/Comparative study of natural resources i.e. Mines, Minerals etc. of Chhattisgarh.
- Agriculture based project on Chhattisgarh.
- Project on Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the field of Science and Technology in Chhattisgarh.
Students enthusiastically participated in the above activities. They showed their profound interest towards making projects, writing essays and Slogans on the given topics.
