Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated at Air Force School, Bhuj, here, on Friday 1st October, 2021. Students and teachers gathered to mark the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with patriotic fervour. To imbibe the true meaning of the day and follow glorious trails of the noble soul towards evolving a peaceful and prosperous world, a special function was organised by students and teachers.

The program started with the chanting of bhajan “Vaishnav Janato” which was Mahatma Gandhi’s favourite song. After that our tiny-tods performed a beautiful dance. Principal of the school Mrs Shalini Kaistha told the students to follow the footsteps of the father of the nation and to be self reliant like him. A quiz on Mahatma Gandhi was also held.
