INTERACTIVE ONLINE SESSIONS

Interactive online sessions during Open Days for school heads and teachers in partnership with British Council

 

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in partnership with British Council is working to bring about systemic change in the school education system that focuses on a move away from rote learning to competency-based teaching and learning.  A series of interactive online sessions were organized during open days from 28 to 30 September 2021 for all CBSE schools. The open days brought together CBSE officials, representatives from UK-based EdTech companies and educators from across India. Teachersgot the opportunity to get acquainted with new resources co-developed by the CBSE and British Council that embed a competency-based education approach in assessments and pedagogy and discuss how schools can transform their teaching and learning using these high-quality materials.

 Teachers of Air Force School Bhuj participated and benefitted from the activities scheduled.
