REPORT ON “SWARNIM VIJAY PARV”ACTIVITIES

SWARNIM VIJAY PARV is being celebrated at India Gate, New Delhi to commemorate 50 years of India’s historic victory in the 1971 war and the Indo-Bangladesh friendship. The two day event is inaugurated by the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today that is on 12 December 2021. During the event, major weapons and equipment used during the 1971 war will be displayed along with the snippets of major battles. After the inauguration, the event will be open to the public. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Singh said, India has contributed to the establishment of democracy in Bangladesh and today we are very happy that in the last 50 years Bangladesh has progressed on the path of development. He said, the aim of the government is to keep Indian armed forces ready for any eventuality and India is moving very fast in this direction.

He said, the 1971 war is a great example of jointness and integration between the three armies. Mr Singh said, 1971 war has taught us the importance of planning, training and fighting together.

The Minister said, today he bowed to the bravery, valor and sacrifice of every soldier of India’s Armed Forces, due to which India won the 1971 war. He said, the country will always be indebted to them for their sacrifice .The closing ceremony will be held on 13th of December which will be attended by Rajnath Singh as well as many dignitaries from Bangladesh. Our Air Force School Bhuj has also celebrated the SWARNIM VIJAY PARV and performed various activities:-

Hindi or English Speech

Children gave positive response as they enjoyed these activities. Teachers acknowledge the efforts .
