VEGETABLE PRINTING ACTIVITY
A vegetable printing activity was conducted on the 20th of July i.e. Monday. Children were made to identify different colors and were also taught names of vegetables along with their respective colors. One thing that was completely new to them was the different shapes and impressions that these vegetables could yield. For example, if you dip two cut halves of an onion in red color (or any color of your choice) and subsequently impress each half onto paper in a particular way, the resulting impression would be that of a flower. Likewise, the impression obtained by a green pea pod is similar to that of a leaf.
In this manner, by using colors and different vegetables, children enjoyed this activity by making some very beautiful paintings.
