NATIONAL GIRLCHILD DAY CELEBRATION

The National Girl Child Day

On 24th January 2022 the 15th National Girl Child Day was celebrated in Air force school Bhuj. At this event, lectures were delivered to the students of class 8th, 9th and 10th. awareness about various efforts made by the government to empower women were discussed with the students. Knowledge of various schemes such as save the girl child, Beti bachao beti padhao Sukanya samriddhi Yojana CBSE Udaan scheme free or subsidised education for girl child were discussed with the students. The students understood that national girl child day is celebrated to provide support and opportunities to the girls of India and also to raise awareness among people regarding inequalities discrimination exploitation faced by the girls in the society. Following activities were also conducted in junior classes:

  • slogan writing.
  • Essay writing.

 

The Students participated actively in both the activities.
