Report on Periodic Test 1

Exams are generally conducted to gauge the learning of students. They help all the stake holders to ensure that teaching learning process is going on in right direction. Students come to know where they stand and whether they are able express the required knowledge of chapters in words. Teachers come to know where the students are lacking and what remedial measures are needed.

Periodic test 1 for classes 1 to 10 were held in the month of July. It covered nearly 20% to 25% of the entire syllabus. Students were examined to see whether teaching objectives were accomplished. Students were evaluated by conducting periodic test 2 through classroom app and google forms. For classes 1 and 2, PT -1 was conducted of 20 marks and only through google form. For classes 3 to 5, PT -1 was conducted through google form as well as classroom app. 25 marks of total questions were asked through google form and remaining 15 marks through classroom app. Question paper of each subject was for 40 marks for classes 3 to 10. For classes 6 to 10, questions of 10 marks were asked through google form and questions of 30 marks were asked through classroom app. In many subjects entire question paper was asked through classroom app.

For 10 std, periodic test 1 started from 5 July while for classes 1 to 9, it started from 8 July. All the classes completed their exams by 16 July. Datesheets are attached below. Teachers guided to students for submission of tests through google form and classroom app within time limit of 90 min (one and half hours). Students answered test through google meet app. Invigilation was done by asking students to keep their cameras on. Before exams, doubts of students were solved by teachers to facilitate smooth conduction. Students have now adopted themselves in giving online exams. There was good response from students as maximum students attempted the test.
