- CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Under the National Cultural Exchange Programme (NCEP) funded by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India artistes from the Zone showcase their talent in other parts of the country. Similarly, artists from other Zones get a platform for exchanging cultural ties apart from acquainting the common people with the rich diversity of Indian culture. . Cultural exchange also adds value to lives by inspiring new forms of artistic expression. Visitors create new networks and learn how to talk and interact with people from other cultures. In addition, cultural exchange programmes help individuals to adjust and learn about new environments.
On this premises a cultural exchange program was held between AFS Jaipur and AFS Bhuj, SANGAM. It was a three days program where both the schools exchanged their cultures virtually. Students of AFS Bhuj showcased Art & Handicraft, heritage sites, Cuisines, Folk Dance and music for three consecutive days from 7th of September to 9th September.
On day 1, students welcomed AFS Jaipur and showcased art & Handicrafts of Kutch through no. of powerpoint presentation and pictures. The next day students gave information about delicious Gujarati food emphasizing more on Kutchi food items. At last Folk song was presented to them through recorded video performed by our students via Google meet. The last day added to the glamour of the program by showcasing Kutchi Folk Dance ‘ Gajjio Munjo’ and ended with a vote of thanks.
In making the program successful, teachers guided students in all possible ways. AFS Jaipur also performed various activities and shared their culture with us. The program was highly successful with a lot of information and enjoyment among both schools.
