Eco club

Eco clubs in schools empowers students to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects. It is a forum through which students can reach out to influence, engage their parents and neighborhood communities to promote sound environment behavior. The eco club activity was held on 14th September. All the students from different classes were divided into groups, the teacher in charge demonstrated the importance of plants and trees in our ecosystem.

Students of class I to V were taken to the botanical garden in our school premises and students of Class VI to X prepared a beautiful skit for awareness of Save Tree. With the help of the skit they explained not to cut trees as it is very harmful for environment. The Eco club in our school is committed towards rising social awareness regarding environmental issues and changing students’ attitude towards the environment and its conservation through action-based programs.
