FRUIT SALAD MAKING ACTIVITY

A fruit salad making activity was organized in the month of September. The primary objective behind conducting this activity was to introduce various types of fruits to children and make them aware about their different features like name, color and taste.

In order to conduct this activity the class teachers sent messages in their respective WhatsApp groups explaining the parents about the activity and requested them to send any one fruit with their kids. The parents sent different types of fruits.

The class teacher educated the children about the importance of washing fruits before eating them. She also educated the children about the name, color and taste of the fruits that the children had brought and also asked them about the same.

Then she cut all the fruits and placed them in a bowl and also told the children not to use the knife on their own to cut them, else it will result in injury. Rather, request your parents to cut them for you.

She then offered the fruit salad to children to enjoy it which they really did.
