Van mahotsav started in the year 1950.This festival was started by kanhaiya Lal munshi the then Agriculture minister Van Mahotsav is an annual one week tree – planting festival in India which is celebrated in the first week of July.This day is also known as forest festival . The aim of this festival is to plant more and more trees in the country lakes of trees are planted on the day of his festival deep plantation is done on this day all over the country. On the day of Van Mahotsav a tree is planted by the student of the school in the nearby garden or in the school garden the only Tree plantation pure our environment . This day is celebrated to spread awareness for importance of tree plantation. Van mahotsav was celebrated in our school on 07 .Jul 2023. The following activities were conducted :-

Class I & II :- Dry Leaf Activity

Class III & IV :- Titan making with leaves and flowers.

Class V:-Plate and Bowl making with Banyan leaves.

Class VI to XII:- Table mat making with jute.
